A typical exercise bike usually consists of a resistance that you can adjust to your comfort level.  This is a very good thing on an exercise bike because the more you exercise, the stronger you get.  Not only are exercise bikes great for the obvious reasons, they can also be more comfortable for some and designed to suit each individual&#8217;s specific training needs.<\/p>\n<p>If you are thinking of getting cardiovascular training, riding a fitness bike should be one of the first choices you make.  Most gyms carry fitness bikes and they are easy to use.  When you use a fitness bike, you are doing an exercise that increases blood flow and speeds up your heart rate, which in turn will help increase your metabolism and you will be able to burn more fat.  The recommended cardiovascular training session on an exercise bike is about 30 minutes a day for 6 days a week.  He really doesn&#8217;t think much of the benefits it has for heart health in general.<\/p>\n<p><b>Make your choice<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Choosing an exercise bike for cardiovascular training is smart.  By sitting, you take pressure off your knees and back, two very precious parts of the body that are crucial to daily activities.  The knees and back are the two parts that need special care, especially if you have sustained an injury in either of them.  This is a great way to exercise for those with rheumatoid arthritis in the knees.  Oftentimes, running can cause knee pain, causing the injured person to have to resort to a fitness bike.  The main thing is that you can still do a great cardio workout while taking care of your sensitive body parts.<\/p>\n<p><b>The obvious benefits <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Another great benefit of using an exercise bike is that it improves your leg strength.  Adding resistance to your bike can give you a stronger cardiovascular workout and very strong legs.  Quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves usually look great with just a few weeks of steadily increasing resistance to your workouts.  Some people even prefer this as a way to increase their leg strength over weight training.  After a short period of time, you will be reaping the benefits of having great calves.<\/p>\n<p>Riding an exercise bike increases your endurance.  Any type of exercise that involves steadily increasing your heart rate, resistance, and sweating will do wonders for your endurance.  At first, you might be able to do just three 20-minute workouts a week, but in a short period of time, (say a month or two at best) you&#8217;ll find yourself doing longer cardiovascular exercises on the fitness bike at higher resistance levels.<\/p>\n<p><b>what are you waiting for?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>There is nothing bad that can be said about owning a fitness exercise bike except for the fact that not everyone owns one.  You can usually find them at your local gym if you don&#8217;t have one, or you can buy them online or at a local store.  Most people who own them don&#8217;t use them, but they really should.
