The New Goodman ASPT Series Air Handler have replaced the old ASPF series with a brand new improved model. The SmartFrame Sub Structure is at the heart of this design - a new skeleton which adds lateral stability to the chassis, new mounting locations for internal compenents and additional insulation retension. It also eliminates the need for external side and back screws. It also features an ECM motor achieving high efficiency in a multi-speed air handler. These new models are 4 way multi-position, capable of upflow downflow or horizontal airflow direction. Unit ships ready for upflow or horizontal left -- downflow or horiz. right is a simple conversion process. The ASPT model has a painted finish and factory-mounted thermal expansion valve (TXV).

Description

The Goodman HKSX10XC is an electric heat kit. It comes from the HKS line, which is intended for use with Goodman air handlers. This model uses rust-resistant nickel chromium heating elements and has 10 kW nominal heating.

This Goodman heat kit features sequences for better temperature control. It has multiple branch circuit capability and has been completely assembled and tested so our customers know they are good to go. Plus, Goodman electronic heat kits are known for being easy to install and a plug-in wiring harness makes it simple to fit into the air handler.

Description

A specially formulated super-hydrophobic (water repelling) product in a convenient aerosol package for field service. The non-conductive formula has numerous applications in the management of water on non-food, non-potable water surfaces for the HVAC/R trade; surfaces that are not exposed to ongoing abrasion (hand and foot traffic).

Directions

This product must be used in accordance to the following directions by HVACR professionals only.

1. Disconnect all power to the equipment before use. Do not spray near sparks, heat or open flame. Discontinue the use of power tools during use. Do not smoke while applying product.
2. Shake well before use. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Keep area ventilated until fumes are gone. Avoid breathing of fumes during application.
3. Ensure surface is clean and mostly to fully dry before applying. After a coil cleaning, the surface needs to be blown dry with an inert gas to remove excess moisture from the surface before applying Nu-Shield.
4. From a distance of 6-12 inches, spray a light coat on the surface, but no more beyond it being visibly wet. In other words, ‘Wet It and Forget It’. Contents in the canister will cover approximately 100 square feet. Depending on ambient conditions, allow a minimum of 20 minutes for Nu-Shield to dry on surface. Ensure surface appears visually dry and fumes are gone from the area before turning on power to equipment.

Note: Product needs to be applied after each coil cleaning. For best results, especially in corrosive environments, the product should be reapplied annually.
